About the Business

The Small Biz Pathfinders works with small business owners to identify what is holding their businesses back and develop practical paths toward stronger revenue, profit, and overall performance. Led by founder Spencer Crandall, we support retailers, product makers, and other entrepreneurs with business strategy, business-model guidance, operational improvement, financial analysis, customer experience, inventory optimization, business data analysis, and technology ecosystem guidance. Our approach emphasizes understanding the business and its owner's objectives before recommending tactics or tools. Through Momentum Maker Coaching, we combine coaching, consulting, and advisement around challenges such as cash flow, hiring, marketing, operations, project management, and startup planning. Engagements can include individual sessions as well as the PATH Framework, which helps business owners diagnose a specific challenge, develop an implementation plan, and monitor improvements over time. We also provide e-commerce and online-store support for product makers and retailers. Spencer designs, improves, and migrates Shopify stores, works with Squarespace when appropriate, and assists with Shopify POS and the business processes surrounding online selling. The Small Biz Pathfinders additionally develops entrepreneurial education programs for communities and provides small-business speaking and presentations.
