About the Business
wee welcome doula & lactation provides evidence-based, full-spectrum, non-judgmental support for individuals and families navigating pregnancy, birth, feeding, postpartum recovery, and early parenthood. Led by Jen Hamilton, BS, full-spectrum doula and IBCLC, I draw on my background in Human Development and experience supporting families through more than 200 births to help clients make informed decisions that fit their individual families. My postpartum support can include prenatal preparation, in-home daytime care, meal preparation, laundry, baby care, emotional support, newborn-care education, and individualized feeding guidance for body feeding, bottle feeding, pumping, and formula preparation. Phone and Zoom check-ins are also available as part of postpartum support, along with client-portal access through a baby's first birthday. Birth doula services are currently provided through the Jet City Doulas collaborative, where I work with two fellow doulas to share prenatal preparation, on-call birth support, and postpartum care. Postpartum doula availability through wee welcome is currently limited primarily to Jet City Doulas clients, while lactation and feeding services are offered to Jet City Doulas and returning wee welcome clients. Educational classes are open to the public. Service Areas Greater Seattle, including Shoreline, Edmonds, Lynnwood, Everett, Mountlake Terrace, Bothell, Lake Forest Park, Woodinville, Kirkland, Bellevue, Renton, Redmond, Sammamish, Issaquah, and surrounding communities.
