About the Business

Rescue Desk Virtual Assistant Services helps small-business owners, solopreneurs, nonprofits, associations, and busy executives delegate the administrative and marketing work that keeps their organizations running. Founded by Rachel Rasmussen in 2008, we serve as behind-the-scenes virtual support, combining executive-level administrative assistance, project management, and marketing coordination so clients can spend more time focused on their core business. Our work includes social media maintenance, email campaigns and e-newsletters, research, vendor liaison, special-event support, virtual-team management, website maintenance, administrative procedures, calendar support, graphic design, and copyediting. Clients can work with us through ongoing monthly retainers, individual projects, managed services, or time blocks available for nonprofit and association clients. We are based in the Madison, Wisconsin area and work virtually with clients across industries. Our primary client base includes entrepreneurs and professional-services businesses, with clients in Wisconsin, throughout the Midwest, and elsewhere around the country.
